On Friday the Judge of the Calcutta HC C.S. Karnan threatened to prosecute 7 senior Judges of the Apex Court who'd issued contempt notice against him.
In a press conference in Kolkata, he said he was targeted by the Apex Court for “being someone from a Scheduled Caste community.”
He said, “The way they (SC) has issued notices against me & summoned me it is unprecedented and the [Apex] Court has no right to do this act in the way it did because I am from the Scheduled Caste community,” .
The 62 year old Judge wrote letter earlier to PM Narendra Modi & others alleging corruption among judges & judiciary. He has been pursuing this allegation for about a decade.
