June,26,2016:

High Court Justice appealed to School, Please do not deprive the child from getting education.

Justice V.M. Kanade of Bombay High Court was hearing a Petition made by Widow that she is unable to give full fees of her son's admission while the School is insisting for the same.

Bombay High Court Judge asked the school to consider giving admission to a student in Junior KG on payment of Rs. 10,500 fees in installments as the boy’s widowed mother can't afford to give entire amount at once, failing which the judge offered to pay from his own pocket.

Justice V.M. Kanade, who is a sitting in Division Bench along with Justice M.S. Sonak, on Friday at a hearing, asked a  High School located  in Chembur to allow the mother of a four-year-old child to pay the fees in installments as she can't afford to pay entire amount at one go.

Justice Kanade stated that the school should consider the payment of fees in installments or he himself would pay the fees because the child should not be deprived of education.

The High Court further enunciated that the school should take a sympathetic view in such a case and should not deprive the from getting education.

The bench asked the school authorities to respond to the petition and posted the matter for further hearing on June 27.
