Assistant Professor(Unreserved)

Qualification: MA/MSc/LLM. Desirable: Ph.D. preferably in Disaster Law and desirable experience of comparative case studies, emergency governance and judicial responses to disasters.

Assistant Professor (Unreserved)

Qualification: MA/MSc/LLM. Desirable: Ph.D. preferably in Governance with field experience of working with vulnerable rural communities affected by environmental changes.

Assistant Professor (Reserved for OBC)

Qualification: MA/MSc/LLM. Desirable: Ph.D. in geography/geospatial sciences. Preferable field experience of studies on disaster-affected remote regions in the country.

Centre for Studies in Science Policy (CSSP)

Qualification: Master’s degree in Science, Social Sciences or Law, or Medicine, or Engineering/Technology Desirable: Candidate should have Ph.D. in science policy studies or related areas. Candidate should have specialization in any one or two of the following areas:

Science, technology and Innovation Policy Science, technology and Society Studies History of Science and Technology Philosophy of Science and Technology Science Technology and Foresight Analysis/data analytics/Research Methodology. Centre for Women’s Studies (CWS) Assistant Professor (Reserved for Economically Weaker Section – EWS)

Qualification: Master’s in Social Sciences/ Humanities.

The candidates should have specialized in:

Gender and Economics, which could include areas like Gender and Labour, Feminist Economic Theory and Political Economy amongst others. OR Gender and Law, including areas like Feminist Legal Studies, Legal Theory, Anthropology of Law and Human Rights. OR Gender and Geography, including areas like Gender and Space, Human Geography and Critical Geography. Desirable: Ph.D. in Social Sciences/ Humanities, At least 2 yrs. experience in Gender Studies. eaching/ research experience and publications in the relevant areas will be given additional weightage.

Salary Pay Level – 10 of 7th CPC Rs. 57,700- 1,82,400.
