About the Moot

The Moot Court Competition is a prestigious platform designed to hone the advocacy skills of aspiring legal minds. This event brings together law students from across India to argue a compelling hypothetical case, testing their ability to apply legal principles, craft persuasive arguments, and think on their feet.

With a focus on fostering critical thinking and practical courtroom experience, the competition aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world legal practice.Beyond winning, it’s an opportunity to engage with contemporary legal issues, network with peers, and prepare for a dynamic career in law.

Eligibility

• Participants: The competition is open to students currently enrolled in undergraduate law programs (e.g., LL.B., B.A., LL.B., B.Com.,LL.B., etc. equivalent to it) at recognized institutions.
• Team Composition: Each team must consist of 3 members: two speakers and one researcher. Substitution of team members after registration is not permitted without prior approval from the organizers.
• Institutional Limit: A maximum of one team per institution may participate, subject to registration capacity.

• Preliminary Round/Researcher Test: 03 April 2026

• Finals: 05 April 2026
