Chhattisgarh High Court notifies dates for National Lok Adalat for 2022

The High Court of Chhattisgarh has notified the dates of National Lok Adalats which will be organized in the year 2022.

The notification issued by the High Court has notified that “As per guidelines issued by the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, National Lok Adalats will be held on 2" Saturdays of March, May, August and November during the year 2022 on all subject matters.”

1st National Lok Adalat - 12/03/2022 

2nd National Lok Adalat - 14/05/2022

3rd National Lok Adalat - 13/08/2022

4th National Lok Adalat - 12/11/2022

The following types of cases (pre-litigation and pending) may be taken up for settlement in the aforesaid National Lok Adalats

  1. Bank Recovery Cases
  2. Criminal Compoundable Cases
  3.  Electricity Bills ( Excluding Non-Compoundable)
  4. Labour Dispute Cases
  5. Land Acquisition case
  6. MACT Cases
  7. Matrimonial Cases
  8. Water Bills
  9. Revenue Matter
  10. Other civil cases (such as rent, easmentary rights, injunction suits, specific performance suits) etc,

High Court Legal Services Committee is contemplating to hold: National Lok Adalat for the above-mentioned subject specified by NALSA for the matters pending in the High Court of Chhattisgarh.

Looking to the present scenario it will be convenient to held Lok Adalat in hybrid mode (physical as well as virtual) as par the circumstances including guidelines issued by Health Authorities from time to time.
