Vertices Partners, one of the leading first-generation law firms, announced a further expansion in its partnership with Siddharth Raja merging his practice along with his team into the firm. He joins as a Senior Partner at the Vertices Partners’ Bengaluru office and will co-lead the firm’s practice in the south.
Siddharth is a senior lawyer with almost two decades of experience in Private Equity/Venture Capital, Mergers and Acquisitions and Joint Venture transactions. His expertise also includes cross-border transactions in this space of legal advisory.
A lawyer–turned–entrepreneur, prior to joining Vertices Partners, Siddharth had co-founded Samvad Partners. Continuing his entrepreneurial journey, he later co-founded Saakshya Law where he worked until his latest and lateral move to join the Vertices Partners. In the past, he had also worked in the Hong Kong office of O’Melveny & Myers, an international law firm where he specialized in cross-border mergers and acquisitions. An alumnus of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru and the University of Warwick, he has also been Partner at Udwadia & Udeshi and Senior Partner and Executive Director at Argus Partners.
Siddharth’s joining Vertices Partners comes after the joining of Rajat Agarwal in Banking & Finance as well as Disputes Resolution Practice in the Mumbai office. Other partners who have joined recently include Manasi Pathak Verma, Regulatory & Secretarial Compliances Partner in Delhi NCR offices, and Jayesh Karandikar, Real Estate Partner in Mumbai headquarters.
With the recent senior level joining, Vertices Partners has built a leadership team comprising approximately 75 members across Mumbai, Bengaluru and Gurugram, bringing in extensive experience and expertise in multiple disciplines.
