Ola Driver Sexually Harrass and 'Molest' Additional Sessions Judge: Gets Arrested, services Terminates

Ola Driver started shouting at the Lady Judge, threw her bag and abused her.

In pursuance of the charges of molestation on one of the Ola cab driver by an Additional Sessions Judge at the Tis Hazari Court, the cab aggregator Ola on Friday blocked the driver from its platform with immediate effect until further investigation.

The incident took place in North Delhi's Roop Nagar area. The  40-year-old Ola cab driver, identified as Sandeep, was finally arrested by Police from Gurugram on Thursday for allegedly misbehaving with the judge and was booked under Sections 354 (making sexual remarks), Section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty of a woman) and Section 427 (mischief) under Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to the Complaint the Lady ASJ  booked an Ola cab and she asked the driver to wait at a marketplace. The Judge asked the driver to wait for some time, but the Driver started shouting at her, threw her hand bag out of the car and abused her.

In a statement issued by Ola,"The services of the driver has been blocked from Ola site with immediate effect until further Police investigation. Ola officials assured that they will take strict actions and will also extend full support to the Police authorities to help resolving the matter on merits".
