About the Opportunity

This is a full-time job profile based in Mumbai. The primary responsibility of the Specialist is to coordinate and manage all aspects of the local income tax and withholding tax compliance and reports to the Director, Tax, Asia Pacific.

Roles & Responsibilities

In addition to the key tax compliance activities, this role also involves supporting tax audits, indirect tax and transfer pricing, and providing support to the Regional Tax team.
Responsibilities include coordination, preparation, and filing of tax returns for entities incorporated and/or tax resident in the Continent. The Specialist works with independence, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing financial information to support the subsidiaries.

Eligibility

Qualified Chartered Accountant and/or advanced degree in tax, or accounts.
A Chartered accountant with 0-3 years experience in Tax and Accounting in accounting firms or MNCs
Experience with tax compliance for US multinational companies preferred.
Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with external stakeholders and associates.

Knowledge and skills required

Demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills; high-performance levels under tight deadlines.
Ensuring compliance with existing processes and producing quality results.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment.
Must be able to able to work in English. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing on technical accounting and taxation issues.
Strong team player with problem-solving skills.
