The Meghalaya High Court is the High Court of the state of Meghalaya. It was established in March 2013, after making suitable amendments in the Constitution of India and North-Eastern Areas Act of 1971.Earlier, a bench of the Gauhati High Court had jurisdiction over the state of Meghalaya.

Location

Shillong, Meghalaya.

Eligibility

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Must be a holder of degree in Law of a recognized University.
• Must be practising as an Advocate in Courts of criminal and civil jurisdiction on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have so practised for a period of not less than 7 (seven) years as on such date as per Annexure-B.
