About the Opportunity

The role requires supporting the Indirect tax head-on providing tax advisory, vetting the business agreements, managing various indirect tax investigations, litigation and facilitating closure of the same, building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, legal counsels, and tax consultants, and ensuring timely and accurate tax compliances.

Eligibility

• Candidate must be CA or a Law Graduate.
• Candidate must have a minimum post-qualification experience of 5-7 years.

Other Skills Required

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Indirect taxes such as GST, Service Tax, VAT, Entry tax, and Local Body taxes in any Big 4, law firm, or large company
• Thinks laterally and creatively, anticipates developments, proposes innovation
• Potential to arrive at the sound judgment to solve problems
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A self-starter, able to use his own initiative, spot opportunities, and drive tax-efficient business decisions
