About the Organization
The dark underbelly of our society today constitutes thousands of sick, old, and destitute elderly people who are abandoned on our roads, starving and doomed to dying an undignified and unknown death. The GOOD SAMARITANS, a Hyderabad, India, based NGO have taken an initiative to help such people live a dignified life in their sunset years and to die peacefully among those who value human life.
Love and support are what these unfortunates need. When a society abandons them, we take care of them. Your involvement, and a small commitment to spare some time, show empathy, concern, and to provide little financial help to those who are weak, starving and unwanted, can make the last years of these people better.
Duration
Minimum one-month maximum three months Internship starts in April and ends in early June, and if any candidates want to join early and continue, they can do it. Timings are morning 10 am to 5 pm, we are looking for those who can start soon.
Internships months: April, May, June, July.
Positions
1. Legal Research Interns
Openings: 4
Eligibility:
- Open for the Law students from across India.
- Bachelors/Masters Law students from any year
- Socially Committed Students are encouraged
- Women Students are encouraged to apply
Stipend: Nil
Internship certificate and recommendation will be provided.
Duties: Working on the Legalities of the Elderly and mentally disabled people, finding state laws and state support for their survivals like pension and so.
2. Safety and Inspection Team
We are building a new home for the Destitute elderly, mentally disabled we need two students who can work as safety and inspection team finding what all things to do for the safety in the new home for the safe environment of the living community. Intern team will be working closely with the Good Samaritans India administration and fire safety department of Medchal District.

Eligibility:
- Any students of bachelor/Master from Social Sciences Institutions
- Who are interested for working with ngo and govt officials
- Excellent communication skills in English/Telugu/Hindi
Stipend: Nil
Internship certificate and recommendation will be provided.
3. Social Media Content writer
Openings: 3
Eligibility
- Any Students of University
- Good at writing skills in English
- Good at Social Media Marketing
Stipend: Nil
Internship certificate and recommendation will be provided.
Duties: Writing about the day to day activities of the Good Samaritans India and helping us in raising funds and
daily basic needs of the organization, also creating awareness about the organization works in society.
4. Field Campaigns
Openings: 6
Duties
The Interns duties are to going to different public places in Hyderabad city and creating awareness about the good Samaritans work and helping the organization to raise funds and other necessary things.
Eligibility
- Any students of University/college
- Excellent Communication in Hindi/English/Telugu
- Ready to take Initiatives
- Ready to go for different places in Hyderabad
- Women Candidates are encouraged to apply.

5. Video Film Making
Openings: 2
Eligibility:
- Any Students Who are good at making documentaries
- Good English Skills ( If Telugu Advantage )
- Socially Committed
Stipend: Nil
Internship certificate and recommendation will be provided.
Duties: The organisation is looking for the immediate interns who can join us for making small video of destitute people, videos of their life and how their life changed after they admitted in Good Samaritans and interns can work on other issues also they can come up with innovative ideas to make the documentaries.
6. Welfare Development Researcher
The Intern will be working on what all government schemes are there for empowerment of the destitute/Mentally disabled/ Senior Citizens and so, and they will be working closely with the Central/State/ District officials to get more details on the respective schemes.
