About the Organisation

The Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established in the year 1857, has completed 162 years of service to the region’s commerce, industry and trade – this year.

This Chamber, one of the oldest Chambers of Commerce in the country, is a Promoter Chamber of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), New Delhi, the oldest national Chamber in the country.

About the Internship

The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry invites applications from graduate/post-graduate students on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Nature of Internship: Office-based full-time internship (Monday to Friday). All internships are based out of our Willingdon Island Office. Interns are expected to carry their own laptops.

Duration: One month

Responsibilities

The interns will assist the research team in:

1. Drafting policy comments
2. Preparing research reports
3. Preparing white papers
4. Preparing representations to various policymakers at the central, state and regional level.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Recent graduates (2019 graduates) may also apply for the internship. People with strong research background and interest in policy research will be preferred.
