Interns will be hosted within a Cluster on Public Policies and Chronic health Conditions and work in the DEEP project.
DEEP (Deciphering Epidemic of Epic Proportions: A Study on the Role of State and Tobacco Industry in Tobacco Control in Post-Liberalized India) is a long-term research project to better understand the political economy of tobacco in India.

Students enrolled in a recognized law program, early-career law graduates or early-career social science researchers with some grounding in legal studies.
The internship will be for a minimum period of two months, during which the interns are expected to work in coordination with and under guidance from the DEEP project team in analyzing legislation and litigations with tobacco as the issue of concern.
Interns will be compensated for any project related travel/expenses and might be eligible for a nominal stipend.
