Why Intern With Civis

Civis believes that the youth of today will help shape the policies for tomorrow. We look forward to the engagement of students in sharing their views and suggestions on the various Consultations published by Civis.

We also believe the agency and enthusiasm that the youth hold, can help motivate their inner circle to participate in matters of civic interest. Civis looks upon the student community as true agents of change!

With this in mind, Civis has put together the following internship structure, wherein each 'Student Champion' will be required to carry out the following tasks.

• Proactively share their individual feedback on Consultations being published on Civis' platform
• Spread the word within their personal network to ensure that additional 10 responses are received per Consultation

 Through these activities, interns will gain an opportunity to.

• Broaden their awareness on different policies across varied domains
• Get practically involved in the co-creation of laws in the country
• Create and spread awareness on policymaking and citizen participation, in their sphere of influence 
• Network with a multi-disciplinary team of Student Champions from top universities across the country  

Adequate training and guidance will be provided by Civis to the interns on how to effectively and productively channelize their voices within their network.

Features of the Internship

• The Civis Internship program will run for a period of 45 days, extensible upon completion.
• Each student will be required to contribute remotely, 1 to 2 hours a week.
• This is a completely virtual internship
• Upon successful completion of the internship activities, every student will get a Certificate from Civis
