In a significant anti-counterfeiting action, Delhi Police and Authorized Representative from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. successfully raided a business in Shahzada Bagh, New Delhi seizing a substantial cache of counterfeit Honda two-wheeler spare parts & accessories. The operation, led by Police Authorities, occurred on August 27, 2025; two manufacturing units located in Shahzada Bagh, New Delhi – 110 035, India following suspicions of large-scale counterfeit activity.
The raid targeted the unauthorized sale and distribution of fake Honda parts and accessories. Officers confiscated an extensive assortment of counterfeit products bearing HONDA, HONDA Brake Shoe Set, Price Tag Sticker, Roller Set Weight, Packing Material. In total, nearly 9,600 Pieces of counterfeit HONDA products were impounded, marking a significant blow to the counterfeit trade in the region.
The action was initiated under Sections 103/104 of Trade Marks Act, 1999 and under Sections 63, 65 of Copyright Act, 1957 and an F.I.R. under No. 0346/2025 was registered against the accused. All seized items have been stored in the Police warehouse and will be presented before a magistrate as part of the legal proceedings. According to Expert, the raid disrupted a major counterfeit supply chain and served as a deterrent to further illegal activities in the area.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has commended the Police for their swift response and diligent action. The firm’s legal team has indicated that they will continue to collaborate closely with authorities to protect their brand from counterfeit operations, which pose risks to the company’s reputation and consumer safety.
