About the Contest
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs in collaboration with MyGov through this essay competition invites citizens to reflect on the lives, values, and enduring legacies of India’s freedom fighters. The objective is to foster a deeper appreciation for their sacrifices and contributions, while encouraging participants to draw inspiration from their courage, leadership, and vision. Participants are encouraged to explore how these timeless qualities can be applied to address contemporary challenges and build a better future.
Eligibility
The competition is open for all the Indian Citizens.
Submission Requirement
- Essay title in both English and Hindi.
- Essay can be in English and Hindi.
- Essay word count: 500-600 words.
- Format: Typed in PDF or DOC/DOCX format.
- Use of official logos as provided.
- Include name, age, contact details, educational institution (if applicable).
- Employees of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and directly or indirectly connected with organizing the competition are not eligible to participate in the competition. This Ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
- The competition will be in English and Hindi, both languages. Entries can be submitted in either English or Hindi.
- One participant can submit a maximum of one entry only. Once submitted, an entry cannot be withdrawn.
- The essays beyond the prescribed limit (less than 500 words and more than 600 words) will not be considered for evaluation.
