About Lex Explore

Lex Explore is an Open Access, Peer Reviewed, Quarterly & Multidisciplinary legal Journal which provides an online platform to all the academicians, research scholars, lawyers and the law students who are genuinely interested to excel in the field of law.

Eligibility

Students, scholars, or academicians pursuing any degree or course, from any recognized university can participate in the competition.

Theme

  1. Life Before and After the Internet.
  2. Animals rights and how they are violated in Modern Society?
  3. Child Abuse and its influence on character development.
  4. Are Men silent sufferers in this Modern World?

Please Note: The above-mentioned list of sub-themes is merely illustrative and not exhaustive and hence any other submission pertinent to the broader theme shall be accorded consideration.

Registration Fee

For Single Author – INR – 149/- only
For Co – Author – INR – 250/- only

Awards

  1. Winner – Cash Prize of Rs – 1, 150/- + Certificate of Excellence
  2.  Runner up – Cash Prize of Rs – 750/-  + Certificate of Excellence
  3. 3rd – Cash Prize of Rs 500/- + Certificate of Excellence
  4. Certificate of Merit shall be provided to top 10 Participants
  5. Certificate of Appreciation will be provided to all the Participants.

Guidelines

  1. The essays must be submitted in English language only.
  2. The Author should submit the essay on only one topic only.
  3. The essays should be the original work of the authors. Any kind of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
  4. The essays published elsewhere or selected/submitted for publication elsewhere shall be disqualified.
  5. The name(s) of the author(s) should not be mentioned anywhere in the essay.
  6. The word limit for the essay is 2500 – 4000 words, not including footnotes.
  7. The essays should be typed in Times New Roman, with a Font Size of 12 and a Line Spacing of 1.5, justified.
  8. The footnotes must be typed in Times New Roman, with a Font Size of 10 and Line Spacing of 1.
  9. The margins should be 1” or 2.54 cm on all sides.
  10. Every citation must follow the Harvard Bluebook, 20th Edition.
  11. Co-authorship of up to 2 authors is permitted.
