Marital Rape: Legal Perspective, Cultural Attitude & Stigma

The Nyaya Shastra team is pleased to announce its inaugural Article Writing Competition, inviting law students to participate. We invite thought-provoking articles that delve into contemporary legal issues and challenges.

  • 01 November – Call for Submission
  • 20 November – Last day of submission
  • 26 November – Declaration of results

Student pursing

  • 5-year integrated law course
  • 3-year law course
  • Post graduate law course

Prizes

  • 1st Prize – INR. 500 + Certificate
  • 2nd Prize – INR. 300 + Certificate
  • 3rd Prize – INR. 200 + Certificate
  • Participation certificates to all the participants.
  • Top 5 Articles will be published on our website nyayashastra.co.in

Submission Guideline

  • Submissions shall be made in pdf format.
  • All submissions are to be made via a google form mentioned at the end of this post.
  • Manuscript word limit: 1500-2500 (excluding endnotes and abstract)
  • Referencing must be through hyperlink.
  • Foot noting should be as per the Blue Book 2021.
  • Your essay should be free from any error of grammar, spelling, punctuation etc.
  • Your paper must be original and plagiarism free. (10% plagiarism allowed)
  • Article must be in English Languge.
  • Use of AI is strictly prohibited.

  • Font style – Times New Roman
  • Size – 12
  • Line spacing – 1
  • Alignment – Justified
  • File Name – (your name_institute name).pdf

Submission

  • Registration fee of Rs. 50/- per submission (single author) and Rs 75/- per submission (co-author).
  • Fee is to be paid by scanning the QR code provided at the bottom of this brochure.
  • Entries to be submitted through google form.
  • Upload the payment screenshot along with your article in proper format

Evaluation Criteria

The evaluation will be based on various criteria including but not limited to:

  • Content
  • Writing Style
  • Technical Accuracy
  • Factual Accuracy
  • Knowledge of Law
  • Familiarity with the Theme
  • Overall Impact
