Sikkim Police has shown remarkable investigation skills and have solved murder mystery case within just 12 hours after occurance.
On 12 Aug, 20 years old girl was stabbed to death in Gayzing West Sikkim while deceased Khus Hangma Subba was on the way to fill-up online form for college admission who had recently completed Class XII board exam. Later her body was found dumped on the roadside at Maneydara where locals sighted & brought to Gayzing Hospital, unfortunately, she was declared dead. Girl succumbed to multiple attacks by a sharp weapon. The team was led by Superintendent of Police West District Tashi Wangyal Bhutia in coordination with SDPO, SHO Gayzing PS. On tip of information whole night, Police intensified search operation of accused finally succeeded nabbing ninteen years old man within twelve hours. As per SP West, a sharp weapon with which murderer stabbed deceased was found in jungle.
SP West thanked local person, ‘a good smaritan tried saving a girl by rushing as fast as possible to hospital but she succumbed heavy bleeding, I am proud of such a noble gesture of person’.
In this case, murderer fled whose search operation was instantly pressed by South District Police team lead by SP himself. After 12 hours the murderer was nabbed.
