NEET, JEE Main Exam 2020 postponed to September; correction window re-opned

National Testing Agency has reopened the correction window for NEET and JEE Main exam 2020 on the official websites neet.nta.nic.in and remain.nta.nic.in respectively from today that is July 4, 2020. The application for the centre correction would end on July 15, 2020, by 11:50 PM on the official website. On July 3, 2020, the new dates for NEET, JEE Main 2020 were announced by the HRD minister. NEET 2020 would now be conducted on September 13. JEE Main 2020 has now been pushed to September 1 to 6, 2020. 

As per the notice it was brought to the knowledge of Agency that various candidates were asking for the changes in the candidate's particulars and the choice of centres in the online application form for NEET-UG and JEE Main 2020. NTA has informed the candidates that it would make efforts to allot the city of exams to the candidates in order of their choices opted now in the latest reopening of the window. Furthermore, the official notice released by the testing agency reads that the admit cards for both JEE Main and NEET would be available to the candidates 15 days prior to the exams this time. It means that the admit cards for the JEE Main exam could be released by August 15 and that of NEET could likely release by August-end or September first week, now that the exams have been rescheduled. 

The candidates who are making the changes can pay the application changes fee through UPI, PayTM and other online platforms. In case the payment is applicable (as per the changes made by the applicant in his / her form ) they would be applicable in the final status. The candidates are advised to check the notice released above and file the corrections carefully.
