Cassandra LaRae-Perez (Professor and Director of Intellectual Property and Transaction Clinic): Professor LaRae-Perez joined UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law in January 2024 to direct the Intellectual Property and Transaction Clinic. She has taught trademark law at Franklin Pierce since 2021.
Prior to joining Franklin Pierce, Professor LaRae-Perez spent twenty years in private practice, developing her expertise in litigation, government relations, intellectual property and business transactions.
Professor LaRae-Perez serves on several ABA-IPL committees and recently joined the USPTO Processing Times Committee. She serves on the board of the Vermont Specialty Food Association and remains active with Vermont’s food and beverage industry.
Arushi Bisht (LLM in Intellectual Property ‘25): Ms. Bisht is a current LLM student specializing in Intellectual Property at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.
She earned her BBA LLB degree from Symbiosis International University and practiced IP law in Delhi for over three years before enrolling in the program.
At UNH Franklin Pierce, Arushi is expanding her expertise in global IP practices, with a particular focus on the nuances of IP protection in an increasingly interconnected world.
Arvind Madan Mohan (LLM in Intellectual Property ‘25): Mr. Arvind attained his BBA.LLB., Hons. from Christ University, Bangalore. After graduation, he practised as a BCI qualified Lawyer, predominantly in Intellectual Property litigation and registered as a Junior Associate in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Arvind is currently pursuing his postgraduate degree at UNH Franklin Pierce to expand his experience in intellectual property across borders. He hopes his studies will enable him to benefit social creativity and innovation.
Arvind’s LLM curriculum includes coursework in Trademarks, Patents, and Copyright. He is also studying Professional Sports Law to understand IP and the entertainment landscape in the US.
Esha Maken (LLM in Intellectual Property ‘25): Ms. Maken holds an LL.M. in International Maritime Security Law and Governance and a BBA LL.B. both from India. With professional experience as a Research Officer at an Institution of National Importance, Ministry of Home Affairs, India, she has worked extensively in admissions, outreach, and career services.
A skilled researcher, legal analyst, event organizer, and writer, she is passionate about law and community service. When she’s not immersed in legal research, she’s likely lost in life’s philosophies, trying to make sense of the world, one clever thought at a time.
Sarah Dorner (Assistant Dean for Graduate Admissions & International Outreach): Dean Dorner serves as the primary contact for international outreach and engagement activities, including global partnerships, at UNH Franklin Pierce.
She directs all admissions functions for the school’s on-campus and online LLM, master’s and graduate certificate programs.
Dorner works across law school departments to ensure graduate and international students receive comprehensive services in the areas of student life, academic success, and career services.
