The Department of Law, Central University of Kerala, established in 2014 is situated in Thiruvalla Campus of the University. The Indian Criminal Justice System is undergoing a major transformation with the enactment of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023.
