On Monday, the Gujarat High Court faced a security scare after an email claimed that explosives had been planted inside the premises. The message was sent to the official court email ID by an unidentified person, creating immediate concern among officials.

Police teams quickly arrived along with bomb disposal and dog squads. The entire complex in Ahmedabad, including courtrooms, judges’ chambers, and both parked and incoming vehicles, was carefully searched.

After a thorough inspection, nothing suspicious was found. Officials later confirmed it was a false alarm. This was the third such threat received by the Gujarat High Court since June this year, though proceedings inside the court continued without disruption.
