The newly formed Government of Tamil Nadu Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has appointed Seventeen new law officers before the Madras High Court at Chennai and its Bench at Madurai.

The Appointments have been done on a temporary basis at the request of Senior Advocate R Shanmugasundaram, newly appointed Advocate General of Tamil Nadu till the law officers can be appointed under the Law Officers of High Court of Madras and its Bench at Madurai (Appointment) Rules 2017.

Following law officers are appointed to represent the State
