The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 16th September, 2021 has recommended re-transfer of Mr. Justice Joymalya Bagchi, Judge, Andhra Pradesh High Court to Calcutta High Court.
Justice Joymalya Bagchi was transferred to the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and assumed charge on 04.01.2021.
About Justice Joymalya Bagchi
Justice Joymalya Bagchi was born on 3rd October, 1966. He did his schooling from Calcutta Boys' School. He passed LLB (Five Years' Course) from Calcutta University in 1991. He stood first in all the LLB examinations. He enrolled as an Advocate on 28th November, 1991. He commenced his practice in the High Court at Calcutta from 1991.
