The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended five Additional Judges of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad to be appointed as permanent Judges of Allahabad High Court.
The names of the Judges are as follows:
- Shri Justice Saurabh Srivastava,
- Shri Justice Om Prakash Shukla,
- Shri Justice Mohd. Azhar Husain Idrisi,
- Smt. Justice Jyotsna Sharma, and
- Shri Justice Surendra Singh-I.
The Judges of the Supreme Court who are conversant with the affairs of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad were consulted in terms of the Memorandum of Procedure, with a view to ascertain the suitability of the above Additional Judges for being appointed as permanent Judges.
