Senior Advocate SK Dholakia passed away on Thursday.
The veteran lawyer had five decades of experience in the legal profession. His expertise lied in the field of Arbitration and Tax laws. He played an instrumental role in bringing the 2015 Amendment to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 to life through his deliberations as a member of the expert committee that was tasked with the preparation of the 246th Law Commission Report. He practiced before the Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court was designated Senior Advocate by the High Court in 1984.
He was designated as “Senior Advocate” by the High Court in 1984.
