The notification issued by the SC Collegium notifies that The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 17 th August, 2021 has recommended elevation of the following Chief Justices / Judges of the High Courts and a Bar member, as Judges in the Supreme Court.
1. Mr. Justice A.S. Oka,
2. Mr. Justice Vikram Nath,
3. Mr. Justice J.K. Maheshwari,
4. Ms. Justice Hima Kohli,
5. Mrs. Justice B.V. Nagarathna,
6. Mr. Justice C.T. Ravikumar,
7. Mr. Justice M.M. Sundresh,
8. Ms. Justice Bela M. Trivedi, and
9. Mr. P.S. Narasimha, Senior Advocate.
For the first time, The SC Collegium recommended three woman Judges name for elevation to the Apex Court. Ms. Justice Hima Kohli , Mrs. Justice B.V. Nagarathna and Ms. Justice Bela M. Trivedi are the three names out of the nine judges.
