The High Court of Patna has notified the dates of National Lok Adalats which will be organized in the year 2022.
The notification issued by the High Court has notified that all parties and the learned Lawyers that National Lok Adalats will be held on 2nd Saturday of March, May, August and November, 2022 in terms of Letter No.F.No.L/34/2018/ NALSA dated 7.12.2021 of National Legal Services Authority. Schedule for National Lok Adalat to be held in the year 2022 is as under:-
1st National Lok Adalat - 12th March, 2022
2nd National Lok Adalat - 14th May, 2022
3rd National Lok Adalat - 13th August, 2022
4th National Lok Adalat - 12th November, 2022
Cases Identified for National Lok Adalat by NALSA are as follows:-
- Criminal Compoundable Offences
- NI Act cases under Section 138;
- Bank Recovery cases;
- MACT cases;
- Labour disputes cases;
- Electricity and Water Bills (excluding noncompoundable)
- Matrimonial disputes;
- Land Acquisition cases;
- Service matters relating to pay and allowances and retiral benefits;
- Revenue cases (pending in District Courts and High Court only); (xi) Other Civil Cases (rent, easmentary rights, injunction suits, specific performance suits) etc.
