The Central government has notified the appointment of Justice Venkatachari Lakshminarayanan, Advocate as an Additional Judge of the Madras High Court .
The notification released by the Law Ministry has notified that "In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Venkatachari Lakshminarayanan, Advocate as an Additional Judge of the Madras High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date of he assumes charge of his office".
