The Orissa High Court has extended the interim order passed by the Court on April 29, 2021, till 16th July, 2021.
The High Court will function w.e.f. 05.07.2021 till 17.07.2021 as per the following arrangements.
1. One Division Bench and seven Single Benches will function every working day at 10.30 A.M. through Video Conferencing.
2. The office of the High Court will function with full strength of the staff. The staff, while attending duty, should carry their Identity Cards.
3. Except the Officers and staff of the Court, there shall be restrictions for others over entry into the High Court campus.
4. Cases will be listed irrespective of defects. However, the concerned Advocates may come to the Court, subject to prior intimation to the Deputy Registrar (Judicial), for removal of defects only in those cases where specific directions are passed by the Court for such removal.
5. Filing of cases and documents may be done either through Drop Box (kept near the counters of the Copying Section) from 10.30 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. or through E-mail at efilinq.od-hc@qov.in or through E-Filing portal.
6. In order to ensure proper sanitization of the files and for safety, the cases filed through Drop Box shall be registered one day after the date of filing.
7. For listing of cases, mention may be made by filing Mention Memos in the Drop Box (kept near the counters of Copying Section) between 11.00 A.M. and 12.00 Noon. 8. Functioning of the Lawzima Courts shall continue to remain suspended.
9. The operation of the VC cabins in the premises of the Odisha State Bar Council shall continue to remain suspended. All concerned are requested to cooperate with the said arrangements made with a view to containing the spread of COVID-19.
