The President of India has assented to the appointment of Justice Pratinidhi Srinivasacharya Dinesh Kumar, senior most Judge of Karnataka High Court as Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Pratinidhi Srinivasacharya Dinesh Kumar, Judge of the Karnataka High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.”
