The High Court of Gauhati has reconstituted the Committee for Designation of Senior Advocates for the State of Assam.
The notification issued by the Registrar General of High Court has notified that “Hon'ble the Chief Justice has been pleased to re-constitute "Committee for Designation of Senior Advocates' for the State of Assam.”
The members of the Committee are in the following manner:
- Hon'ble the Chief Justice
- Hon'ble Mr. Justice N. Kotiswar Singh
- Hon'ble Mr. Justice M. R. Pathak
- Shri Devajit Saikia, Advocate General, Assam
- Smti. Millie Hazarika, Senior Advocate
The Committee was set up in consonance with the “The Supreme Court (Designation Of Senior Advocates) Rules, 2018”.
