The President of India has assented to the appointment of five permanent judges to Allahabad High Court.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri
- Saurabh Srivastava,
- Om Prakash Shulda,
- Mohd. Azhar Husain Idrisi,
- Smt. Jyotsna Sharma, and
- Surendra Singh-I,
Additional Judges of Allahabad High Court, to be Judges of that High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
