The Collegium of the Supreme Court recommended the name of Shri Justice Robin Phukan, Additional Judge, for appointment as permanent Judge of the Gauhati High Court.
The notification further notified that Collegium hoped that since the current two-year term of one of the Additional Judge is due to expire on 24 May 2023, the above recommendation may be processed expeditiously.
On 23 March 2023, the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court in consultation with his two senior-most colleagues recommended the name of Shri Justice Robin Phukan, Additional Judge, for appointment as a permanent Judge of that High Court.
