Supreme Court Collegium has recommended name of four Additional Judges for appointment as a Judge of the High Court of Bombay.
The manes of the Judges are as follows:
- Shri Justice Yanshivraj Gopichand Khobragade,
- Shri Justice Mahendra Wadhumal Chandwani,
- Shri Justice Abhay Sopanrao Waghwase, and
- Shri Justice Ravindra Madhusudan Joshi,
The Collegium has also recommended fresh term of one year to the two Additional Judges.
A Committee of two Judges of the Supreme Court constituted by the Chief Justice of India in terms of the Resolution dated 26 October 2017 of the Supreme Court Collegium has assessed the judgments of the above Additional Judges and rated the judgments authored by them as ‘upto the mark’.
