The President of India has assented to the appointment of 2 Additional Judges as Permanent Judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court.

The notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice has notified that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (l) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices

  1. Narendra Kumar Vyas and
  2. Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi,

Additional Judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court as Judges of that High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.”

Chhattisgarh High Court has sanctioned strength of 22 judges, working with 14 judges only.
