Their immature age was misused, said Bandra Metropolitan Court Magistrate Komalsing Rajput while granting bail to 3 accused in custody since Jan 2022 in the Bulli Bai app case.
The 3 accused are of “very tender age’’. “They are students & one of them is a girl and orphan,’’ said the April 12 order released on Tuesday containing detailed reasons for bail. The court said the evidence is of a “technical’’ nature & spread across the country, & as such the trial will take “substantial time’’.
It said the chances of tampering are “almost nil’’ as the accused have no control over the documentary-based evidence.
