The Central Government has notified the appointment of Former Manipur High Court Chief Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar as the President of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
The notification issued by Ministry of Corporate Affairs has notified that “the Central Government has approved your appointment for the post of President in National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in the pay scale Rs. 80,000/ (fixed) (pre-revised) for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or till you attain the age of 67 years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.”
Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar will hold the office for a period of five years or till he attains the age of 67 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The terms and conditions as President, NCLT will be governed by the NCLT (Salary and Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of the President and Other Members) Rules, 2015 and its amendments.
