April 3, 2019:
Central Kotwali police on Friday arrested a 35-year-old businessman for raping a divorced woman on promise of marriage.
On the complaint of the woman, who is a model, a case was registered against Puneet Pahuja, a resident of Triveni Colony.
City superintendent of police BPS Parihar said that the woman has a 13-year-old deaf & mute daughter & she met the accused a year ago at a deaf & mute institution, where they became friends & started talking to each other.
The duo was in a live-in relationship too. During this time, the man maintained physical relations with her several times on promise of marriage.
When she asked him to marry her, he refused.
The accused made an objectionable video of her & was blackmailing her to maintain physical relations with him.
