The President of India has assented to the appointment of 4 Additional Judges to Gauhati High Court.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (i) Anjan Moni Kalita, (ii) Rajesh Majumdar, (iii) Pranjal Das and (iv) Sanjeev Kumar Sharma to be Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.”
