Mr. M.S. Tyagi, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Mr. Kailash Chandra, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr. Suyash Pant, learned Standing Counsel for the State.

3. Learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the writ petition has been filed on the premise that the record of consolidation of two villages lying with the Assistant Consolidation Officer, Roorkee has not been transmitted to the Assistant Consolidation Officer, Laksar (Basedi Khadar). The order for such transmission of the record has already been passed by the Director Consolidation vide order dated 20.01.2026 and by the Deputy Director Consolidation, Haridwar on 04.02.2026. But, despite clear orders, the record has not been transferred as stated above.

4. Learned State Counsel shall get instructions as to why the record of the consolidation proceedings is not being transmitted as required by the Deputy Director Consolidation and the Director Consolidation.

5. List on 01.04.2026 as fresh.
