Time Extension Application (MCC No.3 of 2026)

3. Today the matter is listed on a time extension application moved by the Trial Court through District Judge, Dehradun, to extend the time granted by this Court to decide the interim relief application till the end of March, 2026.

4. The writ petition was disposed of by this Court directing the Commercial Court, Dehradun, to decide the Interim Relief Application Paper No.3B/27, Arbitration Case No.110 of 2025, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 15 days from today.

5. The said application could not have been decided by the Trial Court within a time stipulated by this Court vide order dated 30.12.2025.

6. The time extension application was earlier moved by the petitioner which was rejected by this Court on 13.02.2026 holding that such an application ought to have been moved by the Trial Court before this Court for extension of time.

7. Now the time extension application is moved by the Trial Court/Commercial Court, Dehradun.

8. The reasons which have been cited by the Trial Court for not deciding the interim relief application was that due to unavoidable circumstances the present case could not be

decided and prayed for extension of time till the end of month of March, 2026.

9. Time so prayed for is granted.

10. Accordingly time extension application is allowed.

11. Trial Court-Commercial Court shall comply with the order dated 30.12.2025 by 31.03.2026.
