Hon'ble Ashish Naithani, J., Mr. Hemant Pant, learned counsel for the Appellant in CRLA No. 272 of 2006 and Mr. Rajeev Sharma and Ms. Anmol Sandhu, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Lalit Sharma, learned counsel for the Appellants in CRLA No. 222 of 2006.

2. Mr. S.S. Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General assisted by Mr. Vikash Uniyal, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand.

3. In continuation of the last order sheet dated 16.02.2026, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned State Counsel that the Applicant-Jagdish Singh, passed away on 17.10.2006. It is submitted that, with regard to Applicant-Malkeet Singh, who was enlarged on bail, the sureties must have assured the Court of his presence.

4. Let a report be called from the police station concerned regarding the whereabouts of Malkeet Singh and also of the persons who stood as sureties for him.

5. List these cases on 07.04.2026.
