2. Petitioner is serving as pharmacist in medical department. He was transferred from Community Health Centre, Pokhri to Primary Health Centre, Rauta-Pokhri vide order dated 15.01.2026, passed by Chief Medical Officer, Chamoli. Thus feeling aggrieved, petitioner approached this Court challenging transfer order.

3. This Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter, as reportedly distance between Pokhri and Rauta-Pokhri is only about 19 km and petitioner's transfer was made in view of excessive work at Rauta- Pokhri where one vacancy is existing on the post of pharmacist.

4. The writ petition is, however, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation regarding his transfer to some other place.

5. If petitioner makes such representation, competent authority shall take decision thereupon, as per law, within four weeks of its making.
