1. Ms. Geetanjali Dhami, learned counsel for the revisionist.

2. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A. for the State.

3. The instant criminal revision has been preferred by the revisionist Prem Singh against the order of conviction for the offences punishable under Sections 279, 337, 338, 304-A and 427 IPC with the sentence of 1 year simple imprisonment with fine of Rs. 1000/-.

4. As per the office report, the revision is well within time.

5. Admit.

6. Summon the trial court record.

7. IA No. 1 of 2026 has been moved with the prayer that the sentence awarded by the trial court be suspended and the revisionist be released on bail.

8. Learned counsel for the revisionist submits that the revisionist surrendered before the court concerned on 11.03.2026 and in reference to this she placed before this Court the questionnaire dated 11.03.2026.

9. Learned counsel for the State also submits that the revisionist has already surrendered before the Court concerned.

10. In such view of the matter, and taking into consideration that the sentence awarded by the trial court is one year simple imprisonment, this Court is of the view that the revisionist deserves for bail.

11. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case IA No. 1 of 2026 is allowed.

12. Let the revisionist be released on bail during the pendency of the revision on his executing a perusal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned. The sentence awarded by the Trial Court shall remain suspended during the pendency of the revision.

13. Exemption application IA No. 2 of 2026 is dismissed as withdrawn.

14. List this matter after six weeks.
