                               1.   None present for the petitioner.

                               2.   Mr.  S.S.  Chaudhary, learned
                               Standing Counsel for the State of
                               Uttarakhand.

                               3.   Petitioner participated in a selection
                               for     appointment       as    Anganwadi
                               Karyakarti. Upon selection, a tentative
                               select list was prepared by the
                               Competent      Authority.    As  per    the
                               Government Order, the candidates who
                               participated in the selection have a right
                               to file objection against the tentative
                               select list.

                               4.    Learned State Counsel submits that
                               petitioner filed objection against the
                               selection of respondent no. 7 before

Appellate Committee, and the Appellate Committee had convened a meeting on 06.02.2026 for disposal of objections received against the tentative select list. However, because of interim order passed in this writ petition, no decision could be taken by the Appellate Committee.

5. Learned State Counsel thus submits that challenge thrown by petitioner to the selection of respondent no. 7 is premature, as respondent no. 7 is not finally selected and provisional selection is subject to decision in the pending objections.

6. This Court finds substance in the 2026:UHC:1643

submission made by learned State Counsel. Since the select list has not attained finality as yet, and it would attain finality only upon disposal of objections received in response to the tentative select list, therefore, there is no scope for interference in the matter at this stage.

7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Appellate Committee to take decision on the pending objection, as per law.
