2. Mr. Suyash Pant, learned S.C. with Mr. Dinesh Bankoti, learned B.H. for the State- respondents.

3. Heard.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents prays for and is granted three weeks' time to file the counter affidavit.

5. The present petitioner is similarly situated to the petitioner in WPSS No. 202 of 2026, wherein an interim order has been granted by the Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 29.01.2026. Hence, a similar interim order is called for.

6. Learned counsel for the State submits that the selection process has already been completed, appointment letters have been issued, and most of the selected candidates have joined their duties; therefore, any interim order at this stage would vitiate the entire selection process. However, it is also submitted that interim protection has already been granted to similarly situated candidates.

7. List on 27.02.2026.

8. In the meanwhile, one post of Assistant Teacher (Science) in S.C. Category, Government Primary School, shall be kept vacant in District Chamoli, in case the posts are not filled up.

9. Urgency application and interim relief application (IA Nos.1 & 2 of 2026) stand disposed of accordingly.
