Hon'ble Alok Kumar Verma,J.

This writ petition has been filed by the

petitioner - plaintiff under Article 227 of the

Constitution of India with the following prayers:-

"(i) Issue an appropriate order or direction to the Learned Court of Additional Family Judge First, Roorkee, District Haridwar in Case No. 628 of 2025 titled as "Manvendra Vs. Smt. Garima" under Section 13(1)(ia) and Section 13(1)(iii) of The Hindu Marriage Act to decide the same finally as expeditiously as possible and within some time bound period which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

(ii) Issue any other or further writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

(iii) To award the cost of the petition in favor of the petitioner."

2. Heard Mr. Navneet Kaushik, learned counsel

for the petitioner.

3. Mr. Navneet Kaushik, Advocate, submitted

that the said case is fixed for plaintiff's remaining

evidence.

4. Having heard, the learned Ist Additional

Principal Judge, Roorkee, District Haridwar is directed

to make an endeavour to decide the Case No.628 of

2025, "Manvendra Singh vs. Smt. Garima", as

expeditiously as possible, as per law, without granting

any unnecessary adjournment to either party.

5. The present Writ Petition No.630 of 2026

(M/S) is disposed of accordingly.

6. It is made clear that this Court has not

expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
