                                JUDGMENT

Hon'ble Ravindra Maithani, J. (Oral)

By means of the instant petition, the

petitioners seek the following reliefs:-

"i) Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay the interest @ 9% per annum on delayed payment of arrears of revised pay scale w.e.f.

01.05.1995 to 30.06.2010 forthwith qua the petitioners as the respondents authorities have paid and released the said benefit of the interest upon the arrear of revised pay scale in respect to the similarly situated counterpart of the petitioners.

ii) Pass any other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit any necessary in the interest of justice."

2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and

perused the record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would

submit that the petitioners were given delayed payment,

but interest has not been paid. He would submit that the

matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated

20.12.2024, passed by this Court in WPSS No.2376 of

2024, Premwati Sharma and others vs. State of

Uttarakhand and others; and connected cases.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents admits

these facts.

5. Since, the matter is covered, instant petition is

decided in terms of the judgment dated 20.12.2024,

passed by this Court in WPSS No.2376 of 2024, Premwati

Sharma and others vs. State of Uttarakhand and others;

and connected cases.
